The personality trait of “openess to experience” was the lead predictor of higher fruit and vegetable consumption.
The second highest personality trait predictor was being more extroverted and the third a higher conscientiousness.
Their personalities making them more willing to try new fruit and vegetables or brave enough to keep experimenting with the ones they don’t initially like.
